Aboyne in Aberdeenshire is set at the entrance to beautiful Royal Deeside. Visitors will benefit from a relaxing area which is still within travelling distance of Aberdeen City and the Scottish Castles and Whisky Distillery Trails.
For the more active there are some pleasant walks through the stunning scenery of Scotland's Royal Deeside and the Highlands are within travelling distance. The village has its own swimming pool, tennis courts, bowling green and a 9 and 18 hole golf course. Surrounding sports facilities in the area includes horse riding, shooting, fishing, climbing and gliding.

Summer visitors can enjoy the events at concerts at the annual Aboyne and Deeside Festival.
There is a supermarket, butchers, hairdressers, Post Office, hotels, banks, pubs, restaurants and takeaways, a primary and secondary school and a village hall.
Each year they hold the Aboyne Highland Games on the village green.
East Toll is a two bedroomed 18th Century cottage available to rent on a self catering basis.
