Thai Restaurants in Aberdeen
Aberdeen is blessed with several excellent Thai restaurants ranging from fast food outlets through to fine dining experiences. Here we review our favourite Thai places to eat.
Madame Mew's has the distinction of being the Trip Advisor number one restaurant for Aberdeen, an opinion we whole heartedly share for those looking for a lunchtime treat. Read below for those looking for a more formal setting or a dinner treat.
Chaophraya Restaurant
The Chaophraya restaurant on the corner of Union Street and Union Terrace deserves top listing as one of the best Thai restaurants in Aberdeen for so many reasons. The building, inside and out is so stunning and the owners have tastefully blended the original architecture along with Thai statues and adornments.
We always receive a warm welcome and love the quiet efficiency in which all the smart dressed waiters go about ensuring you have a fine dining experience. Their chefs are ever so talented and the portions from the extensive menus are plentiful.
The various alcoves make for a relaxed but yet intimate lunch or dinner.
Our favourite dishes are the pork dumplings and the chicken with cashews:
