Outdoor Ice Rink Aberdeen
Photographs and information about the outdoor ice rink during Christmas time at the Union Terrace Gardens in Aberdeen
The outdoor ice rink at
Union Terrace Gardens Park forms part of the Christmas celebrations and has returned to the City thanks to the Aberdeen Inspired business network and Aberdeen City Council.
Opening times can be found on the
Christmas Village Market at Union Terrace page.
It can hold 50 skaters and costs £4 per person (Monday to Friday from 2pm-5pm) or £6 at other times. This admission fee includes skate hire from the Xmas Ice Rink and use of the panda bear or penguin aids.
Other Christmas activities in the park during the opening times of the ice rink include a Santa's Grotto, Brass Band, wreath making classes, storytelling, a hot drinks barista van, a roasted chestnuts stall and even a Dad's Creche!
