Organic Restaurant Aberdeen
Review of the Jerome Jerome organic restaurant in Aberdeen that uses local Aberdeenshire food and donates to the Third World
In 2007 the first Organic Restaurant in Aberdeen
opened in The Golden Square just off Union Street. Jerome Jerome combines organic food whilst ensuring all ingredients are sourced locally to help reduce the carbon footprint and CO2 that is released during food transportation. By using Scottish and Aberdeenshire local food the Aberdeen organic restaurant brings a wide ranging menu of seasonal food.

My new novel:
The Aberdeen skies are under attack from an enemy jet. It is spilling a strange yellow smoke. Minutes later, people start killing each other.
Former Royal Air Force Regiment Gunner Jason Harper witnesses this and then his wife, Pippa, telephones him, shouting that she needs him. They then get cut off. He sets straight out, unprepared for the nightmare that unfolds during his journey. Everyone seems to want to kill him.
Along the way, he pairs up with fellow survivor Imogen. But she enjoys killing the living dead far too much. Will she kill Jason in her blood thirst? Or will she hinder his journey through this zombie filled dystopian landscape to find his pregnant wife?
The Fence is the first in this series of post-apocalyptic military survival thrillers from the torturous mind of local horror and science fiction novel writer C.G. Buswell.

is owned by Jerry Patel a Pharmacist from Cove, Aberdeen. He recognised the importance of not eating food that may have additives, pesticide residue and that could have been grown using genetically modified (GM) farming techniques. So he set up Aberdeen's first organic restaurant that avoids these food products. Instead Jerry Patel of Jerome Jerome sources food from Aberdeenshire farmers and food producers who use organic farming techniques. To ensure the food at Jerome Jerome is fresh his chefs create a seasonal menu. Jerome Jerome employ local chefs to ensure customers enjoy Aberdeenshire cuisine at its very finest. This includes head chef Michael Penny from the Bridge of Don.
Jerome Jerome dispels the myth that organic cuisine and seasonal food is expensive because starter prices commence from just £2-95 and main meals from just £6-50. Mr Jerry Patels' generosity does not stop at supporting local food producers and growers, he also supports the Third World by donated half of all profits to Third World projects. So diners at Jerome Jerome will not only enjoy fine cuisine from the best Aberdeenshire ingredients but will also be helping charity as they eat.
Not all dishes at Jerome Jerome are just for the vegetarian diner or Vegans. There are plenty of fish and meat dishes using the finest Scottish beef and salmon sourced locally. In addition Jerome Jerome chefs can create dishes for customers with wheat allergies.
The bar in Jerome Jerome serves organic beers, wines and even smoothies. Visitors to the bar at JeromeJerome can order all day tapas.
An army veteran moves his family back to his Aberdeenshire home, but his nightmare neighbour starts a battle of wits with him. Who will win this One Last War?
