Child Ghost at Kingcausie Tower House
The History Of Kingcausie
Kingcausie is a 16th Century Tower House just outside Peterculter in Aberdeenshire. It was home to the Irvine family.
It is now a modern looking mansion, though does incorporate the original features.
The Ghosts Of Kingcausie
Two year old James Turner Christie was dropped from his nanny's arms and fell down the stairs and died. It is thought that the house is now haunted by his ghost. Footsteps that sound like they belong to children have been heard in the home, though no-one has been seen.
A room called the Chinese Room is thought to be haunted by a mischievous ghost that throws off the bedclothes.
