Crazy Golf Aberdeen Beach Pirate Island Miniature Golf Codonas

Crazy Golf Information and photographs of the Pirate Island Codonas miniature crazy golf course at Aberdeen Beach

In March 2007 Codonas added a crazy golf play area to their fantastic funfair. Located at the rear of the amusement park and with parking by the miniature golf course this is a welcome attraction for Aberdeen City.

    Pirate Island

Miniature Golf Codonas As you can see from the photos the 18 hole Florida style adventure golf has a pirate and treasure island theme and is called Pirate Island. Golfers young and old have to swing their way round obstacles and fun barriers like an erupting 25 foot volcano complete with special sound effects, a pirate galleon ship, beach huts, a giant skull, firing canons, tropical palm trees, fountains, pools and various water features. Pirate Island is floodlit and in open air so is ideal for late summer nights as well as day time fun.

I have published a book which tells the story of an Aberdonian military nurse who returns from Afghanistan and encounters The Grey Lady Ghost of the Cambridge Military Hospital. The novel reveals her origins and takes him to a pre-war Duthie Park, modern day Cruden Bay and back to the past to the Battle of Loos in World War One where he witnesses the Gordon Highlanders in action. This is the first in the series of Grey and Scarlet Novels by me, CG Buswell, and each book will feature a well known Aberdeen ghost and Aberdeenshire area as well as modern Scottish Infantry in action. Read the first chapter for free.

Pirate Island This crazy golf course facility contains no steps or stairs and is suitable for disabled people. There is disabled access from the car park and through to the funfair.

There are more free car parking spaces and disabled parking along the sea front and beside the cinema complex.

Crazy Golf Aberdeen Toilets for users and visitors to the Codonas crazy golf at Aberdeen beach can be found at the funfair.

The Pirate Island miniature crazy golf course can be booked for private parties like stag do's, corporate entertainment, hen parties and of course children! Kids can all get a free party bag and punch balloon with selected party packages. Food and drinks can be arranged with party offers. Dodgem the cuddly and friendly mascot of Codonas pops in from time to time to entertain the children and give out free cuddles.

    Opening Times

Pirate Island is open each day, except Christmas Day, from 10am. It stays open late into the night.
