    Aberdeen Exhibition Conference Centre

Events shows and what's on at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre and how to book tickets and where to catch the park and ride to get to the AECC

The Aberdeen Exhibition Conference Centre plays host to a wide range of concerts and fairs such as Lord of the Dance, comedians like Micky Flanagan, Status Quo Concert, Holiday and Disney on Ice, Christmas Craft Fair, X Factor Live Tour, Noddy and much more.

I have published a book which tells the story of an Aberdonian military nurse who returns from Afghanistan and encounters The Grey Lady Ghost of the Cambridge Military Hospital. The novel reveals her origins and takes him to a pre-war Duthie Park, modern day Cruden Bay and back to the past to the Battle of Loos in World War One where he witnesses the Gordon Highlanders in action. This is the first in the series of Grey and Scarlet Novels by me, CG Buswell, and each book will feature a well known Aberdeen ghost and Aberdeenshire area as well as modern Scottish Infantry in action. Read the first chapter for free.

There is adequate parking and disabled facilities. The Bridge of Don Park and Ride is only a short walk away. The Aberdeen Holiday Inn is only next door for those who wish to stay overnight.

Take the A90 heading towards Bridge of Don, the Aberdeen Exhibition Centre can be found behind the Holiday Inn - turn right at the roundabout and follow the road down towards the car park.

Car parking charges of £4 were introduced to the AECC in April 2010.

Tickets can be booked in person, by telephone or on the internet at the Box Office.

    Grand Prix World Snooker Tour

    Disney On Ice.

The Mystic World of Derek Acorah.

    Aberdeen Cup tennis Tournament

    Emmerdale Dinner Dance

There is a park and ride bus that leaves and returns to the Castlegate to the AECC for each performance or event. It drops passengers off at the Holiday Inn Hotel. This bus service is called the Gig 'n' Go bus. It is a flat rate ticket price.

Visit their website for the latest shows and events and more information at www.aecc.co.uk
