Seaton Park Concert is a new annual event in Aberdeen organised by the Northern Lights Music Festival. The first Seaton Park Concert will take place on Saturday 30 July and Sunday 31 July 2011. I have published a book which tells the story of an Aberdonian military nurse who returns from Afghanistan and encounters The Grey Lady Ghost of the Cambridge Military Hospital. The novel reveals her origins and takes him to a pre-war Duthie Park, modern day Cruden Bay and back to the past to the Battle of Loos in World War One where he witnesses the Gordon Highlanders in action. This is the first in the series of Grey and Scarlet Novels by me, CG Buswell, and each book will feature a well known Aberdeen ghost and Aberdeenshire area as well as modern Scottish Infantry in action. Confirmed acts for the first Seaton Park Concert by the Aberdeen Northern Lights Music Festival company include singers Paloma Faith and Edwyn Collins and groups Madness, The Noisettes, Idlewild, Maximo Park, Kelis, The Futureheads, The Waterboys, Tinchy Stryder, The Twilight Sad, We Were Promised Jetpacks and Xcerts who hail from Aberdeen. There will be over 50 performers entertaining at Seaton Park Concert by the Aberdeen Northern Lights Music Festival company.

As well as the live performances at the Seaton Park Concert by the Aberdeen Northern Lights Music Festival company there will be dance music from DJs such as Mylo, Example, Audio Bullys and Sander Van Doorn.

Ticket holders will then be given a wristband at the gate to gain access throughout the Seaton Park Concert by the Aberdeen Northern Lights Music Festival company. Please note that this North East of Scotland concert is restricted to those aged over 14 years and children up to the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. It is recommended that proof of identity and age be carried by concert goers.

There will be three stages at the Seaton Park Concert by the Aberdeen Northern Lights Music Festival which are the main stage, a dance stage and the third stage will be for new acts and local talent.

There is no on site accommodation at the Seaton Park Concert by the Aberdeen Northern Lights Music Festival company so please do not bring your tent. Instead the organisers have arranged a special price for single person rooms at nearby University of Aberdeen Hillhead Halls site in Hector Boece Court at a cost of £25 a night or £40 for both nights.
