Jimmy Chung's Breakfast
Enjoy a cooked breakfast, butteries and croissants at Jimmy Chung's at Aberdeen Beach Esplanade. Read the menu and our review of this eat as much as you want meal:
The new Chinese restaurant at the Aberdeen beach esplanade and boulevard is a welcome addition to the Jimmy Chung group in Aberdeenshire. This is now their fourth restaurant in Aberdeen and the eighth in Scotland - and the food and service keeps getting better.
A welcome addition to the Jimmy Chung restaurant is that it serves breakfast from 8am until 12pm. Just like their lunch and dinner buffet meals the breakfast meals are an eat as much as you can buffet.
The hot plate keeps the food items fresh and hot and each item is stocked up regularly. Unlike other buffet restaurants Jimmy Chung's give you huge plates - great to pile on the breakfast!
It's a great start to the day!
Whether you are on your way to work, out for a day's shopping or going for a walk along the beach - pop into Jimmy Chung's for a breakfast.

My new novel:
The Aberdeen skies are under attack from an enemy jet. It is spilling a strange yellow smoke. Minutes later, people start killing each other.
Former Royal Air Force Regiment Gunner Jason Harper witnesses this and then his wife, Pippa, telephones him, shouting that she needs him. They then get cut off. He sets straight out, unprepared for the nightmare that unfolds during his journey. Everyone seems to want to kill him.
Along the way, he pairs up with fellow survivor Imogen. But she enjoys killing the living dead far too much. Will she kill Jason in her blood thirst? Or will she hinder his journey through this zombie filled dystopian landscape to find his pregnant wife?
The Fence is the first in this series of post-apocalyptic military survival thrillers from the torturous mind of local horror and science fiction novel writer C.G. Buswell.

I'm not sure what a traditional Chinese breakfast consists of but Jimmy Chung's has catered for the local palate and serves a delicious full Scottish breakfast. I round mine off with a refreshing pot of Chinese tea. Other drinks available include various coffees, English tea and a variety of fruit juices including mango.

The philosophy of Jimmy Chung's restaurants is the same at breakfast time - polite and efficient service with warm welcoming smiles.
Parking is free at the Aberdeen beach area.
There is disabled access to the restaurant and there are disabled toilets.
The hot plates are centralised so there is plenty of room to move around the food, taking your time to choose from the wide range of breakfast items. Seating is also spaced out and the restaurant extends to the back, so there is plenty of room and no rush to clear tables for other customers.
The interior is tastefully decorated to give a modern oriental feel with an exotic fish tank and modern shaped chairs which still retain a feel of the East.

Have you seen my beautiful golden retriever Lynne out and about in Aberdeen? Ask her for a high-five! She's a Bravehound PTSD assistance dog, so we'll often be in shops, restaurants, and the cinema together.
We've written a book where I talk about growing up in Aberdeen and then joining the army to be a medic and nurse, and developing military Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
I also talk about losing my son to suicide and the therapy I have had at Royal Cornhill Hospital and grief support groups in Aberdeen.
The author, Damien Lewis, said of Lynne:
"A powerful account of what one dog means to one man on his road to recovery. Both heart-warming and life-affirming. Bravo Chris and Lynne. Bravo Bravehound."
