I have published a book which tells the story of an Aberdonian military nurse who returns from Afghanistan and encounters The Grey Lady Ghost of the Cambridge Military Hospital. The novel reveals her origins and takes him to a pre-war Duthie Park, modern day Cruden Bay and back to the past to the Battle of Loos in World War One where he witnesses the Gordon Highlanders in action. This is the first in the series of Grey and Scarlet Novels by me, CG Buswell, and each book will feature a well known Aberdeen ghost and Aberdeenshire area as well as modern Scottish Infantry in action. Read the first chapter for free.

As part of the Miss Scotland pageant Caroline Windsor wore a full length white silk dress for the evening wear judging part of the final event. Other costume changes so that the Miss Scotland judges could judge the contestants in different clothing included wearing a bikini with high heels and a tartan costume.

A week before the Miss Scotland contest 2007 Caroline Windsor had to learn the Argentine tango so that she could be judged upon her dancing skills during the final. She was taught by tango dancers Ricardo Oria and Jenny Frances.

She will be judged alongside 30 other finalists who were picked from over 700 Scottish girls to be crowned Miss Scotland 2007. As well as being judged on her dancing skills, she will have to appear in a bikini and high heels and a dress ball gown in front of the judges and audiences. The Miss Scotland competition final will be hosted by Myleene Klass (Popstars, Hear'Say, Miss Saigon, Iím a Celebrity get Me Out of Here, CD:UK presenter, model).

If CarolineWindsor wins Miss Scotland 2007 she will win:

£10000 cash prize
Free dental care for one year
Free hairdressing for one year
A modelling contract
Free jewellery from a top Scottish jeweller
A place at the Miss World competition 2007 that will take place in China.

Caroline's boyfriend is car salesmen Adam Sinclair. Her father, Anthony, is a farmer. Her mother, Linda, sadly died early in 2007 and Caroline entered Miss Scotland in her memory.

The height of Caroline Windsor is 5 feet and 6 inches.

Caroline Windsor went on to the top five contestants at Miss Scotland 2007 after successfully completing a question and answer session, the judging of her tango dancing skills and then the evening gown and tartan wear dress judging. Sadly she lost to Neve Jennings from Glasgow. Shannon Travers, another Glaswegian, came second.

In between her studies Caroline Windsor works as a receptionist at Kitchens International at Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. She has a miniature daschund dog called Coco.
